Monday - Friday We are looking for a Shipping Clerk to join our team to ensure the accuracy and integrity of all products we ship to our customers! This individual would have to be comfortable with creating sales orders and work orders, maintaining inventory control, and data entry.
This position also includes client care with our customers to ensure that they remain happy with our service and product.
Responsibilities Create sales orders & work orders travelers.
Create bill of materials for work orders Maintain files, including customer files, vendor files, invoice logs and miscellaneous files Coordinate shipping of completed orders on an as needed basis Submit sales orders for invoicing.
Maintain inventory control of raw materials and fabricated components, including coordination of cycle counts with Site Manager Fill customer orders by pulling products from inventory.
Prepare orders for shipping, following specified shipping instructions.
Prepare required shipping documents.
Examine contents and compare records, such as invoices or orders, to verify accuracy of outgoing shipment.
Record shipment data, such as weight, charges, space availability, damages and discrepancies for reporting, accounting, and recordkeeping purposes Assemble kits with required product and prepare for shipment to customers.
Take part in inventory counts.
Enter, change, or modify sales orders in the database.
Complete other duties as assigned.
Requirements Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
Strong customer service skills.
High School Diploma / Degree preferred.
1-3 years professional experience.
